From Poetry to Neuroscience
What gives life meaning?
This question, as necessary as it is unsettling, has long been my companion in the quiet hours. Today, I choose to answer it from my two favorite vantage points: neuroscience and literature.
As a neurologist, I seek to understand the invisible circuits that guide our emotions, decisions, and behaviors. As a writer, I dive into them, transforming them into words that can soothe, provoke, and awaken.
My journey began with poetry; there I learned that writing is its own language, and that a single word can ignite an inner universe. Then came the novels, where I explore intense and complex romances and human relationships, in which the psychology and vulnerability of the characters weigh as heavily as the desire that consumes them.
In parallel, neuroscience has allowed me to build bridges to other minds, sharing what I learn through self-exploration and self-help grounded in scientific evidence. Because while feeling is inevitable, understanding what we feel opens the path to a truth that sets us free.
In my universe, science has skin and the heart has arguments. I invite you to step inside: here, emotions are first built, then understood… and finally, they are dared to be felt.
